Carrisa Thomas
Dr. Thomas is a native Texan who brings compassion, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to patient care to Premier Veterinary Group. She works collaboratively with the hospital’s specialty teams to enhance patient safety and provide individualized anesthesia and pain-management plans.
Her clinical interests include multimodal anesthesia and analgesia, ultrasound-guided regional analgesia techniques, chronic pain management, and strengthening the human-animal bond. She is also passionate about teaching and continually exploring new ways to improve the care and comfort of her patients.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with her doggos, trying new restaurants, exploring Chicago, and seeing the world.
