Miranda Buseman
Dr. Miranda Buseman’s career began with an undergraduate degree in Animal Science at Iowa State University. She continued her education at Iowa State University to obtain her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). It was here that she found her love of emergency medicine and followed that path to Chicago, where she completed a small animal rotating internship with Premier Veterinary Group. Finding herself wanting to learn, grow, and continue to provide the best care for her patients – she continued her path of advanced training by going back to Iowa State University for a specialty internship and subsequent residency in Emergency and Critical Care. She has a special interest in polytrauma, sepsis, coagulopathies, and hospice care. Additionally, she cares deeply about preserving and enhancing the human-animal bond with her patient’s families and ensuring their comfort.
