Dr. Becky Ritchie grew up in the Chicago suburbs and attended Augustana College where she completed her undergraduate degree. She then went on to attend veterinary school at Iowa State University where she earned her doctorate of veterinary medicine in 2015. After vet school, Dr. Ritchie completed a small animal rotating internship at VCA Aurora Animal Hospital.

Dr. Ritchie spent time outside of Detroit where she worked as an emergency veterinarian before eventually moving back to Chicago and continued her work in emergency medicine at Premier Veterinary Group.

Dr. Ritchie enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, reading, and spending time with her two dogs Ash and Fitz, and her cat Noodle.
