Aaron Paushter

Dr. Aaron Paushter earned his veterinary degree from the University of Illinois in 2019. He then completed a small animal rotating internship at North Carolina State University before returning to the University of Illinois for a three-year residency in neurology and neurosurgery. He achieved board certification by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine with the completion of his master’s thesis regarding a novel formulation of a common anti-epileptic medication.

Aaron’s professional interests include the diagnosis and management of seizure disorders and inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system. Before attending veterinary school, Aaron obtained a law degree from Northwestern University and practiced corporate law for several years in Chicago. He is thrilled to return to Chicago.

When not at work, Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife and their greater Swiss mountain dog, Chelsea, eating delicious foods, and international travel.
