Dr. Herppich grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. She attended the University of Illinois where she earned her B.S. in Animal Sciences, followed by the University of Minnesota for her veterinary education. Throughout veterinary school she worked at the university's clinical pathology lab and a dermatology clinic on the weekends. Unable to escape the Midwest, she then completed her rotating internship at a private practice in Michigan.

Dr. Herppich finally returned to sweet home Chicago after training and spent one year in general practice. In 2014, she began her epic career with Premier Veterinary Group as an Emergency Veterinarian. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Emergency Critical Care Society, and European Veterinary Emergency Critical Care Society. In her free time, she enjoys international travel, yoga, Taylor Swift, her sweet & sassy cat bestie Penny (a lung cancer survivor thanks to all her amazing coworkers!) and exploring Chicago with strong focus on the food scene.
