Dr. Jessica Huntington is a native of the Chicagoland area, having grown up in the northwest suburbs. She attended the University of Illinois of Chicago to earn her BS in biology. Afterwards she worked in various roles in the flavoring industry prior to returning to school. She graduated from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 where she spent a lot of her free time working in the Wildlife Medical Clinic and with the Wildlife Epidemiology Lab. After earning her DVM, Dr. Huntington went on to complete a small animal rotating internship at VCA Arboretum View in Downers Grove.

 Following her internship, she went on to work at various hospitals in the area that focused on emergency medicine, general/preventative medicine, exotics preventative and emergency medicine as well as shelter medicine. Dr. Huntington most recently joined the Premier Veterinary team in Grayslake after returning home from a few years of practice on the east coast.

In her free time, Dr. Huntington enjoys reading, the occasional movie/tv series and spending time outdoors with her husband, son and 4 dogs.
