Dr. Natalie Rupp grew up in the west Chicago suburbs. She attended the University of Iowa and graduated with an undergraduate degree in biology. After graduation, she began working in a genetics laboratory at the University of Chicago where she was introduced to lab animal medicine which would ultimately lead to her interest in veterinary medicine.
In 2012 Dr. Rupp began veterinary school at the University of Illinois. She focused on Emergency Medicine throughout her schooling and upon graduation, successfully completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship at Veterinary Specialty Center in Buffalo Grove where her emergency training strengthened. Following her internship she immediately began working as a ER veterinarian.
Dr. Rupp brings a background in specialty emergency medicine to Premier. Her specialized skills include point of care ultrasound, thoracocentesis, abdominocentesis, pericardiocentesis, feeding tube placement, and chest tube placement.
